This Privacy Policy explains what information Semalt AI Website Builder (“Semalt”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use semalt.app, and how we use and protect it. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.
1Introduction
Semalt AI Website Builder lets you describe a website in plain words, generates it with AI, and lets you refine it in chat and publish it online. This policy applies to the semalt.app website, the builder, and the sites we host on your behalf. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

4AI processing and service providers
To build your website, the prompts and content you submit may be processed by third-party AI model providers and by our hosting, infrastructure and analytics providers. These providers act on our behalf under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to deliver the Service. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private prompts to train third-party models except as needed to generate your site.
5Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the builder working and analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve the product. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though some interactive features may not work correctly without them.
6Sites you publish
When you choose to publish a site, its content becomes publicly accessible on the internet at your subdomain or custom domain. You are responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have the rights to use it. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in a published site that you do not want to be public.
7Third-party sites
The Service and generated sites may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the data practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies.
8Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account and sites are active, or as needed to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations. You can delete your drafts, published sites or account at any time; we will delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law.
9Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure, including encryption in transit (SSL). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
